Having developed the visual brand strategy and creative platform for Tobermory Distillery and its whiskies Tobermory and Ledaig, we were challenged to create an ownable and true positioning for their new gin range.
Building out of the ‘The Art of the Hebridean Distillers’ positioning and using the island of Mull as a source of creativity and ingredient inspiration, our solution utilised the brands core visual look, with the added aspect of watercolour views of Tobermory.
The core gin, with its ‘splash’ of Tobermory whisky ‘new make’ in it, has an impression of the distillery harbour hometown refracted through the bottle. Whilst the ‘Coastal’ and ‘Mountain’ gin feature images reflective of the locations providing their unique island ingredients.
