In Pursuit of Speyside Peated Perfection - Meikle Tòir
Guided by revered Master Distiller, Billy Walker, ‘Meikle Tòir’ (‘Big Pursuit’) captures the journey that The GlenAllachie Distillery embarked on five years ago. To carefully craft and cask-perfect a peerless peated single malt at their Speyside Distillery.
Working very closely with the GlenAllachie team, threebrand helped with the visual brand strategy and brand naming conventions that led to the unique look and title for the range.
We commissioned Scottish illustrator Iain McIntosh to hand-draw the distilleries rugged and beautiful Speyside home. The illustration captures Ben Rinnes – the highest point in the surrounding area – and the layers of strata that have formed over the years in the area. The illustration is deeply embossed into the box and label to add tactility to the customer’s experience.
An earthy colour palette symbolises the surrounding moss, oak, heather and sky to allow easy navigation of the range.
We also extended our brand look and feel into an immersive the web design that conveys the heart of their craftsmanship.
The layout is intuitive and elegant, guiding users seamlessly through the whiskies story, product range, and stockist. Subtle animations and interactive elements enhance engagement, while the design prioritises easy navigation across devices. The result is a digital home as refined and crafted as the whisky itself.
