Award season is underway!

We’re delighted to have scooped two golds, a silver and two bronzes at this year’s World Whisky Design Awards!

Gold was awarded within Range Design for Meikle Tòir and within Special Edition for the 2023 Bunnahabhain Single Malt Scotch Whisky 2023
Fèis Ìle,

Meikle Tòir also took a silver for Best New Launch, whilst bronze awards were given to Speyburn Single Malt Scotch Whisky within Best Range Design and for Penderyn Faraday Edition within the Travel Retail Exclusive category.

With four projects awarded across five categories it makes the 2025 World Whisky Awards one of our most successful entries.

Relaunching Speyburn Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky

We were recently invited by International Beverage to the launch of the new rebranded Speyburn Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky.

It was great to see our work on the redesign launched to the masses. We led the redesign process, developing a new brand identity, as well as primary and secondary packaging label structure, hierarchy and range colour coding.

The launch event was at the London Canal Museum on 22nd May and kick-started with a canal boat ride to the venue!

The brand redesign was launched to a room of whiskey industry experts, journalists, friends, family and suppliers of the brand. We all enjoyed a night of signature serves, including Speyburn 10 Apple & Soda and a bourbon cask honey & ginger old fashioned – which went down particularly well with the team!

We’re ending 2023 with several award wins from Harpers Global Design Awards. All 6 of our entered projects picked up an accolade at this year’s awards making it one of our most decorated years.

Patrón El Alto, Crolly Distillery Coillin Darach, Blackwater Distillery Dirtgrain Irish Whisky and West Coast Brewers GMT range all scooped Silver, whilst Bunnahabhain Fèis Ìle and Patrón El Alto were awarded Bronze.

The Harpers Global Design Awards recognise that design is a vital element in the success of any drinks brand and aim to recognise the best in the industry. They judge on delivery of the right mix of cues, imagery and information to create packaging that speaks to consumers and stands out in a crowded marketplace.

We’re very happy to once again be recognised by a known voice in the drinks industry for our hard work and creativity.

Going for gold!

We’re kicking off the the week with a spring in our step as our Irish Cream design for Micil Distillery has scooped Gold within the New Launch category at this year’s World Liqueur Drinks Awards!


The liquid is created from a family recipe which appears in gold foil across the watch strap and a handwritten product description reinforces the handcrafted nature and authenticity of the liquid. Simon Henshaw created a stunning lino cut illustration of the Connemara hills and farm that wraps the distinctive cream bottle making for strong category stand out!

Gin of the month!

We love a good gin story, and client, Micil Distillery has just that!

Made exclusively for Craft Gin Club members, their Spiced Orange Gin boasts subtle floral notes and a zesty burst of vibrant orange.

The design sits closely with their core gin, whilst allowing this variant to also stand out in its own right.

This is the first product of many to launch, that we’ve worked on for Micil Distillery, which is the first legal distillery in Galway for over 100 years.

Following in his great-great-great-granfather’s footsteps Pádraic Ó Griallais, a 6th generation poitín distiller, and the Micil Distillery team are making award-winning spirits with the same love and care as their forefathers.

Whisky Magazine Icons — Design Agency of the Year 2021

As the drinks industry continues to be faced with one of the most challenging years, Whisky Magazine’s Icons of Whisky is a celebration of the people, place and product that make the industry as dynamic and robust as it is! We’re absolutely delighted to have been awarded Scottish Design Agency of the Year, a mammoth pat on the back for lots of hard work and even more creativity!

A big thanks to our clients too, for believing in our creativity and supporting us along the way.

We’d also like to say a massive well done to Holyrood Distillery — winners of Visitor Attraction category. Working alongside Cubit 3D and Eastern we collectively brought alive the interior and exterior of the distillery.
