We were delighted to be asked to work on the second of two luxury tequila brands for Bacardi. El Cielo is a category-defining liquid for Patrón Tequila. Expertly crafted using a fourth distillation process it delivers an impressively rare, naturally sweet taste. The desire for this product was to create a luxury position for the brand that reflected the lightness and sweetness of the delicious liquid.

We achieved this through the creation of a bespoke bottle shape in clear flint glass. The shape has subtle echoes of the iconic core brand bottle. We then dressed it with a custom gold pitted stopper and clad the neck with an infilled gold neck collar. The Patrón branding was intentionally applied in a light-handed way to allow the liquid’s purity to reign.
